Lyanne applies her international healthcare and clinical research experiences to analyse new technologies for products and services.
Lyanne also manages a non-profit organization focused on promoting higher education to high school students.
Prior to Ginward, Lyanne was a faculty member at Santa Monica College in Los Angeles where she directly supervised more than 300 students in her courses. Lyanne has more than 6 years of healthcare and clinical research experience, especially in clinical trials and rare diseases and was a paediatric outpatient dietitian at a children’s hospital in the US.
During graduate school, Lyanne was invited to speak at multiple conferences on her NIH-funded research projects, including a conference in Europe. Lyanne got her first taste of consulting when she worked for an on-campus group which specialises in working with university spin-offs. In her undergraduate years, Lyanne was a dietetic intern at 4 major hospitals in Montreal, Canada and was the only student selected to represent McGill University in Ghana for a research collaboration.
Lyanne is bilingual in English and Mandarin and speaks fluent Cantonese.
Lyanne was fully funded for her PhD in Nutritional Sciences and minor in Statistics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the US where she won several awards. Lyanne is also a Registered Dietitian and completed her BSc in Dietetics with distinction at McGill University in Canada.
