Jessica is responsible for evaluating business plans for projects, financial models, conducting extensive market research and creating investor packages for the preparation of projects. Jessica fully leverages her business training by managing intern recruitment and contributing to corporate branding.
Prior to Ginward, Jessica discovered her interest in alternative finance through internships locally and abroad. She started as a corporate finance intern at Impact Investment Exchange Asia (IIX) where she learnt valuation analysis and fundraising through hands-on experience. She went on to explore the potential of fintech and digitalization at DBS Bank, the world’s best digital bank, as an SME Banking Innovation Management Intern. She also interned at Fuho Capital, a Beijing-based high-tech VC fund to gain exposure to China’s start-up ecosystem and private equity market.
Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in finance from the National University of Singapore. In addition to finance, she actively pursued history and US-APAC relations studies in order to better understand the interconnectedness of the global business environment.
Jessica is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese. Having studied French at NUS and earned the INSA Lyon-NUS French Language Immersion Award, she also reads/communicates in French at around intermediate level and continues to work on her French skills.
