GINGER HSIAO

Ginger is a co-founder of Ginward and the Portfolio Manager for the European Life Sciences Growth Fund of Gold Nest Private Capital, a fund that invests in early growth stage life science technologies.

She serves on the Board of St Luke Eldercare as Honorary Treasurer and is an Independent Advisor to the Taiwan Angel Club.

Prior to Ginward, she enjoyed an established career in investment banking, specialising in fund raising and structuring investments for institutional investors, as well as structuring financing proposals for major corporations.

As Managing Director and Head of U.S. Corporates Sales, Head of China Corporates and Head of Asian region Structured Finance within the Capital Markets Division at Credit Lyonnais/Credit Agricole, she advised and structured debt related solutions for LBOs, acquisitions, expansionary and project deals for global corporations across all industry sectors. She was mandated sole Arranger of rates and currency hedging programs for major Corporations.

As Vice President at Citigroup’s Capital Markets Division in NYC, she originated, structured, and marketed investment products to global Institutional Investors, concurrently raised fresh capital for global institutions. She was sole Arranger of structured EMTN launches in Europe and Asia for Supra-nationals and other financial institutions.

She began her career at Citigroup in 1990 as a Financial Associate within the Global Corporate Finance Division, NYC.

Ginger is bilingual in English and Mandarin, with conversational Taiwanese/Hokkien.

In 1991, Ginger graduated from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania as a Mayor Scholar.
